Playing Information

Alton Tennis Club Playing Information

Members

  • Members benefit from a variety of opportunities for social and competitive play. 
  • There is a full programme of coaching for Adults and age-specific coaching for Juniors run by our superb Coach, Will. 
  • Please note: U16 Juniors must not be left unaccompanied at the club. 

Non-members

  • We are a friendly club and welcome non-members of all ages. You can play as a Visitor (up to 3 times) either at our mix-in sessions or if accompanying a member.
  • One of our courts is available to non-members aged 18+ and Under 18s accompanied by a parent/responsible adult, for £10 / hour 'Pay and Play' during mix-in sessions. For further information please contact the Club on  0798 353 2003.
  • For Health & Safety and insurance reasons, all Pay & Play non-members must sign the Visitors' Book.

Please note: The Club cannot act in loco parentis; all children visiting the club remain the responsibility of their parents / accompanying adult.

Visitors

  • We also welcome visitors to the Club. Visitors may play at the club up to 3 times, and on each occasion must be accompanied by a member. There is a nominal Visitor's Fee of £2 per visit.
  • Visitors accompanied by a Member must sign the Visitor's Book for Health & Safety and insurance reasons.

Coaching 

  • High quality coaching is provided by our superb professional Coach, Will (see Coaching page for further details).

Competitive League Matches 

  • We have teams competing in the East Hampshire and the Aldershot and District Leagues. Matches are played on various days / evenings of the week, depending upon which league is involved. Further details are available from the Match Secretary.

Club Sessions 

  • Many members enjoy our informal, 'mix-in' mixed doubles sessions which are held frequently throughout the week. You can come along for as long or short a time as you like during our club social / mix-ins. See table below for details of days and times.
