Winter Matches

Dear All,

Although there are still some summer matches yet to be played, the winter playing season will start in mid-September, so now is the time to get your thoughts on what you would like to play in winter.

We are entering the following teams in the winter season:

Aldershot (matches usually played at the weekend on a Saturday or Sunday morning).

One men’s and one ladies team.

East Hants (played on Monday, Wednesday or Friday evenings)

Men’s A and B

Ladies A and B

Vets Mixed (we are always looking for eligible additions to this team. Men over 55 and Ladies over 50 at the start of the season).

Could you please let me know as soon as possible what you would like to be involved with during the winter season and also whether you are willing or particularly want to be a team captain? We like to rotate the captaincy slots if at all possible to give others a chance to be involved.

Please also let me know if you are likely to be unavailable for a lengthy period of time or, for instance (because of jobs etc) cannot make away matches. This may give us the chance to balance the squads more effectively.
