Heads up for next Wednesday if you have a court booked:
We have received this notice from EHDC:
"Please note that on Wednesday 27th, the exit ramp from the Sports Centre/Gurdons will be closed for one day and all traffic will be directed to exit on to Chawton Park Road via the skate park. This is necessary due to us taking the opportunity of the ‘quiet’ time to demolish the existing footbridge link from the extended car park to the old leisure centre. Hicks Demolition have thoroughly planned the works with banksmen at both the top of Gurdons and next to the Skate Park to ensure that traffic can be smoothly diverted, they will also ensure that the road is thoroughly cleaned post-demolition works."
The disruption looks to be pretty minimal for us (... famous last words... :o), but thought it was worth passing on the message.
